A new recipe

The other night I was browsing Pinterest and came across a recipe for mini lasagnas. We were in a dinner rut and needed to get out! I made our own vegetarian version for the family! It was Delicious! Ace thought we needed to share it with ya'll!

 I mixed the ricotta and the cooking creme together for the filling!

 We love Mid's sauce and the italian blend cheese as a layer.

 Use won ton wrappers and begin to layer. You could add meat, veggies,spinach or whatever
your family likes. I used one package and made 24 little lasagnas, with 3 layers of won tons in each.

 I put a spoonful of sauce on the bottom to help soften the noodles as my kids don't like the crunch edges. Then I began to layer all the ingredients.

 Add the cheese and Parmesan on top. I thought afterwards that I could have made a small layer of shredded cheese and italian seasoning inside too. I will so that next time!

 Finally, sprinkle on the italian seasoning and put in a 350 degree oven for 15/20 minutes.

 Wait patiently as you house becomes filled with smells that will make your mouth water.....

 Assemble 2 or 3 on a plate...we used paper for fast clean up due to it being Boomer's cheer leading practice that night. (don't judge, lol!)

 Add some salad and you've got a great meal!

 I have to say that even picky Mcpicky liked this dinner(aka, Tank)

Getting My House Back part 2

Today I conquered the playhouse and swing set!!!!!! Alot of work was done to make it nice again! I painted the swing set a nice shiny black! I then added a fun name on the front of the playhouse! The twisty slide got a scrub and a new fresh color on the door of it!!!!! Later we raked and pulled weeds as a family and then enjoyed some Popsicles! I could totally  get use to this unusually warm March!!!

Getting my house back....

For years and years I have felt defeated in this home. We are stuffed to the brim here and need to now look at moving to a bigger house. However, we knew that this would require some improvements to this house before we could put it on the market. Not the kind of improvements that you're thinking....no much worse! I needed to clean out closets, the pantry,the fridge (OK, but it just needed it too)the patio, the playroom, the cabinets ,garage and the DREADED basement storage area!

 The new kids snack bin in my pantry so they don't go digging all over and mess up my nicely organized shelves. This is the ONLY place in the pantry they can get a snack now!!!!!!

 The new school lunch add-ins containers for a making lunches in record time! Also serves as a snack bin for the kiddos too!

 A week later and it is still being used well!!!!

The garage now.....believe me this is A VAST improvement to the before!!!!!

I did not take before pictures ....well.....because it was terrible.(hoarders edition) I had too many kids in such a short amount of time and was too busy. OK, and I'll admit too lazy to take the time it was gonna need to do it right!!! That day has come and I was motivated to get the crud out and get my house back! So yesterday, my mom and sister volunteered to come and help me while Z took number 1 and 4 to his basketball game and then to lunch followed by the park afterwards. My friend too my two middles and we got to work. In just the basement alone, we made 4 car loads of trash(old clothes, shoes,papers,toys,pillows,broken tools, old stuff) to the dump!! Ahhhhhhh boy does it look nice around here! Still have not enough bedrooms but wow, this is a nice house after all!! I still have to do the boys' closet and a few more organizational touches in the basement. It brought a whole new meaning to the phrase "Spring cleaning"!!!!!!!!!!!

They got in!!!!!!!!

 With Tank starting Kindergarten in  the fall we've decided to try to get into a coveted new charter school closer to the house. We have tried to get into this school for 3 yrs!!!!! Well yesterday, all 3 big kids won the lottery! (school lottery, hahaha!). We know lots and lots of families and  could not be happier for this opportunity! So relieved that we got in!!!!!!!! The move should be relatively easy come September because we are already at a National Heritage Academy and thus the building are similar and the moral focus as well!!

My mini jocks!

Today Tank and Q started a new basketball class. They love to play with Daddy when we come to workout so we knew they'd love this class....and boy did they!!!!!! I can see many years or sitting in the stands watching these two( ok all 4) play!!!!!!!
