STRESSED

Oh boy.. I am stressed out! No two ways of thinking! When I was thinking about moving(it was last April), I had fantasies about nicely boxing our lives up and just seamlessly moving into a new beautiful home while the warm sun glowed on the kids as they rode their bikes in the driveway. Well, welcome to reality. We are now closing this Valentines day(2 days folks, they moved it up a week) and probably moving into a small apartment for 6 people and a large dog for some time.This is do to lack of homes we love and not wanting to offer anything until we sold this....... Nowhere near seamless or warm and sunny as  I imagined.I am not trying to sound ungrateful because, I know that we GET to move  and GET to upgrade, but OMG........I am hanging by a thread!!!!!

In addition to Little Man's birthday and two parties, two separate swim Championships that take over two weekends, Valentines for all 4 kids to give to a total of 93 classmates which include parties for 4 classrooms, a MASSIVE assignment JUST given to Ace that involves a massive amount of time, commitment and research, and makes up ONLY his whole semester grade......all due at or around his move. This is not to mention pack, pack, pack, pack and pack. In addition to get them to all their practices, school,add two dentist appointments and current extra-curricular sign ups......throw a couple of snags in the actual selling process of agents,inspections,negotiations and deadlines.....add a few school snow days to help make me sane.................oh................. I CAN NOT SEE CLEARLY......I think I am officially stressed out! And what do I do to remedy?? Join a diet group with a jackpot award!!!! Holy hell.........Stressed and hungry!

Commericals

I was watching tv the other  night and this commercial came on.  I know this will sound dramatic (I know I do have a flare for the drama as my Mom says) . The commerical stars the Dad who tells his daughter"YOU ARE ADOPTED" in an  supposedly humorous attempt to distract her from the  game she was playing. Somehow we are suppose to think that it is funny?   It's like Christmas advertisements poking fun of the gift of fruit cake or the Father's day gift of another stupid tie.   It's just annoying, old,  and always over used! I don't think it is funny  in the first place.  How many sitcoms have you seen that have the child in the family freaking out because he thinks he may be adopted?  Hurtful and overall  not funny. Painful more like it!


I then tried to find  this commercial on You Tube or goggle. But, I put "you're adopted" in the search box.  I was horrified at what I did find. And sad all linds of sad that my kids will someday understand life and it's cruel ways. If you want an example, goggle it. I don't want to put a link on here and  get them " hits". 


Because of my family and gift we have of  adoption, I am not objective no not at all!!.  This type of sick humor  is so hurtful to me and honestly very,very offensive.  I hope that it is just as offensive to those outside of the adoption families as well! Sick people ,just sick!!!

Life as we currently know it...

1. Swim team practice (M,T,Th,F) for both Ace and Boomer

2. Church Choir practice for Ace,Boomer and Tank (W)

3. CCD for Ace and Boomer (W)

4. Packing

5. Oh and more packing

6. Pick-Up drop-off at Ace,Boomer and Tank at school twice a day (M-F)

7. Drop-off pick-up Little Man at preschool (T-Th)

8. Swim meets for Ace and Boomer (Sat)

9. Cooking, cleaning,laundry....PACKING!

10. Patching holes and paint matching all over the home!

11. Take Gunner out a million times a day!

12. Homework times 4!! (M-Sun)

13. Pack 3 sets of lunches 5 days a week!

14. Entertain Little Man while I do 1-10!!

15. Workout as I am in friendly diet club and it is for CASH prizes!!

I am tired of this selling/moving thing already!!! 

Just Dance

We got the Just Dance 4 Wii game for the kids and they been dancing ever since!!!  It is sooo funny to watch them!! Click here to see Ace and BoomerAce and Boomer!! Even Z got involved in the action!! What a fun Dad my kids have!! ;)DADDY AND TANK showdown!

Boomer and the swim meet

Wow, today Boomer had a swim meet (Ace did too but got the stomach bug on the way to the meet) and did AWESOME!!!!!!! She dropped so much time. She had a 35.76 going into the meet in the 25 Fly and got a 27.54(less than 2 tenths away from qualifing in the A Championship meet). She had a 40.61 in the 25 Back and ended with a 33.88. And in the 25 free she had a 25.31 going into it and got a 22.02. WOW Boomer, you were on fire today! One more meet to qualify!! So proud of my girl! Papa and Gannie were also there to see her work it!!! :)

Accepted!

It is a long time coming...this picture was taken in May when we put the home up originally and we have a new company we used since this picture was taken, but ...........We accepted their offer and are officially moving!!!! Not until mid March but the negotiations are over!! :) I (we) can possibly sleep again after a long, long, long tenuous 10 days!  We haven't found a home yet to move into so that is a bit stressful! However, we have planned to move into an apartment until we find one we love. It will be a new larger home for all my crazies to grow up in!!! YEAH!!!!
