Boomer's Sleepover

      Boomer had her two good friends, Harmony and  Gabby over tonight for a sleepover. She has wanted to have them spend the night for over a year now. Z and I decided that she was ready to have one here so we let her invite her two favorite. These girls are actually 1st cousins and are more like twins than not. We have had lots of activities like nail painting (no pictures as I was painting all of them), roasting hot dogs on the fire,dress-up and making caramel apples!

 Tank and Ace were on a bike ride with Daddy and came back sweaty and tired!!

 She even had time for her baby brother who wanted in on the photo opt! Sooo cute!!

Wordless Wednesday-Brotherly love

Cedar Point

Well, a yearly tradition 6 years strong is that we take the kids to Cedar Point in Ohio every summer. they have always anticipated the annual trip, but this year was a bit different. We decided to not go in the summer, but go in that early fall for the Hallow-weekends! They were sooo excited!

 Cedar Point, here we come!

 Excited to reach 36" and ride lots of kiddie rides!

 Pulling up to see pretend mummys...Boomer began to freak!

 The random characters often broke out in song and dance along the walkways!

 Ace began to get dizzy....but rode Top Thrill Dragster with no problem....(so did I and my sister-in law too...it was CRAAAZZZYYY)

 This kid wanted to ride all rides...he was not tall enough for most...he can't wait till he can!! He is a wild thing...front row and all!!

 Boomer was afraid of the the scary costumes and was prepared to run if she saw any in the parade...Z was trying to calm her as Ace was trying to get her going...oh the love!

Luckly, there weren't any! We had a great time~!!!

Early Celebrating!

A few weekends ago we participated in our campgrounds Halloween Parade and costume contest! We had a blast and this is the kids favorite part of the season! This year Ace was Frankenstein, Boomer was a Fairy, Tank was a Lion and Q was (suppose to be) a puppy! He was not into wearing the costume for some reason but would occassionally wear the hat to it.

We did well at the costume contest! Boomer got first place in her age group and Tank got 4th (out of 15). Ace and Q received Honorable mentions!  they each got a prize and some candy! Then we went trick-or-treating!

Later in on this trip was a Cedar Point trip...those up next!!
